Workshop for Parents and Interventionists
This workshop is designed to provide an introduction to the basic principles, concepts and strategies of ABA to families of children ages 0-18 years. The workshop is offered to everyone who is working with the child, including interventionists, immediate and extended family, and preschool or school staff. Our Clinical Director, William Kent, typically hosts these workshops.
On going training sessions – Individualized for Each Family.
Training session will begin once the assessment portion of program start-up is complete. The training sessions can take place in your home, involve your child and typically last about two hours. The consultant will initially work directly with your child and will demonstrate to you how to implement each specific program. The parent or interventionist will then begin to actively participate in the training sessions. This is the opportunity to receive immediate feedback, guidance and direction from the consultant.
